Settings Overview
Everything you configure once and then forget about lives in Settings. This page is a map of what is there and which settings actually matter, grouped the same way the app groups them.
If you have just installed Uppush, only four of these need your attention before you send anything: Store information, Logo, Email sender and Verify domain. The rest can wait until you need them.
Store information
Store information
Your store name, address, country and timezone. These appear in email footers, where most countries require a physical sending address, and the timezone decides when a scheduled campaign actually goes out.
Get the timezone right before you schedule your first campaign — a campaign set for 9am in the wrong timezone still sends, just not when you meant.

Store information settings
Logo
Two logos, used in different places:
- Logo — appears in emails and on popups.
- Web push logo — the small icon shown in push notifications.

Uploaded images
Every image you have uploaded to Uppush, in one place. Use it to reuse a banner across campaigns instead of uploading it again, or to clear out images you no longer need.

Translation
Manages the languages your popups and automated emails are available in. If your store sells in several languages, this is where the translations live. See Multi-language auto-translate in automation workflows.

Discount applied
Discount
The discount codes Uppush can hand out — in popups, in automated emails and in campaigns. See How to set up discount codes in opt-in popups and automated emails.
Discount applied
Controls whether a discount code is applied to the cart automatically when a customer arrives from one of your messages, instead of making them type it at checkout. Fewer steps, fewer abandoned carts.
Web push notification
PWA - Web App
Lets customers install your store as an app from their browser, which is also what makes web push work on iPhone. Set the app name, description and colour here. See WPA - Web App Applications.
Email
Email sender
The name and address your emails come from, and the reply-to address. See Email Sender.
Open & click tracking
Chooses how opens and clicks are tracked. With it enabled, links are rewritten through your own store domain rather than a shared third-party tracking domain, which looks better to mailbox providers and helps deliverability. Recommended, and on by default.
Turn it off and your emails keep their original links with no tracking pixel — you also lose open and click data, along with the email engagement segments that depend on it. See Open & click tracking.
Verify domain
Proves you own the domain you send from, by adding DNS records. This is the single biggest thing you can do for deliverability: unverified senders land in spam far more often.
See Verify custom domain & set up email sender, and the step-by-step guides for Porkbun, Domain.com, Hostinger, GoDaddy, Namecheap and Bluehost.
Verify email
Confirms an address so you can send test emails to it. See Verify test email.
Blocked domains
A list of email domains Uppush refuses to accept signups from, and will not send to. Use it when a popup starts collecting junk addresses from a handful of throwaway domains.
This is a blunt instrument that blocks an entire domain, so it works best against disposable-mail providers. For bots in general, use Bot protection below. See Blocked domains.
Bot protection
Stops automated signups from filling your list with fake addresses. See Protect your popups from bot signups.
Customer data
Activity tracking
Chooses which storefront behaviour Uppush records — page views, product views, add to cart, started checkout — so you can build segments from it. Pro plan; a Pro store starts with add to cart and started checkout on. See Customer activity tracking.
Sales
Sales attribution
Decides when a sale counts as driven by Uppush, separately for email and for web push.
Two things to set: which engagement counts (delivered, opened or clicked) and how long the window stays open after it. A narrow rule — clicked, within 1 day — credits Uppush with less but is hard to argue with. A wide rule — delivered, within 30 days — credits it with more, including orders that would likely have happened anyway.
Pick one and leave it alone. Changing it mid-quarter makes your reports impossible to compare. See Sales attribution.
Page content
Unsubscribe
The page a customer sees after clicking unsubscribe. Worth customising — it is the last thing some customers see from you, and offering "fewer emails" instead of "no emails" sometimes keeps them. See Page content.
IOS PWA guide
The instructions shown to iPhone users on how to add your store to their home screen, which is what enables web push on iOS.
Themes
Templates
Your saved email templates. See Creating and saving custom email templates.
Theme extension
Confirms whether the Uppush app embed is switched on in your current theme. This is worth knowing about: the embed is what runs popups, web push and activity tracking on your storefront. If it is off, all three stop — silently.
Check here first whenever something that used to work on your storefront has stopped, and always after switching or duplicating a theme. See Theme extension.
Plan & billing
Your current plan, usage and invoices. Reached from the top of the app rather than from Settings. See Email pricing and billing.
