Birthday gift ​

A birthday message with a small gift is one of the most welcome messages a store can send.

Before you start ​

  • You need customers' birthdays. Add the Birthday field to your Uppush popup so subscribers can share it. Only customers with a birthday saved receive this flow.
  • Available on paid plans (Starter, Premium, Pro).

Set it up ​

  1. Go to Flows and click New flow.
  2. Under Nurture subscribers, choose Birthday gift · Standard and click Use this template.
  3. Review the message and the discount, then click Save and Turn on.

How the standard template works ​

On the customer's birthday, the flow sends a push and, 10 minutes later, an email with a 10% discount valid for 7 days.

  • Trigger: Customer birthday — checked once a day, in the morning (UK time).
  • A customer receives the birthday flow once a year.

Other versions ​

  • VIP vs. regular customer — customers who spent 500 or more get 15%, everyone else 10%.
